Calling all Speakers
The North American Frac Sand Exhibition & Conference 2019 is seeking presentations that are broadly focused on the following key topics:
As North America is experiencing an interim stabilization in frac sand supply, largely due to current oil prices impacting on shale gas and tight oil production from the U.S and Canadian plays, this has led to significant challenges for the supply chain to find new ways of transporting frac sand more efficiently and cost effectively to existing well sites. Market suppliers are increasingly looking at utilising on existing rail networks as a means of transporting frac sand supplies between markets and well sites.
On the upside, last year the average well used around 2,500 tons of frac sand; and wells are now often using twice that amount, with some wells even having as much as 10,000 tons of sand being pumped into them. While the current low oil price environment is having some impact on orders from multiple well sites, an overall increase in frac stages and proppant intensity per well is helping the market to absorb the reduction of sites. For frac sand producers to overcome the current market conditions, the supply chain will have to adopt new cost-cutting strategies and improve efficiencies across the board to enable proppant to reach well sites more cost effectively and on time.
Be a part of our multi-disciplined agenda…
North American Frac Sand 2019 will be an opportunity for professionals engaged in the proppant supply chain and for end users wanting to share their experiences to report on their findings and to exchange views. Presentations that focus on the current challenges in frac sand markets, transportation and logistics, and end user case studies are most welcome, along with other relevant topics of timely interest.
This year, North American Frac Sand 2019 is back in Houston, Texas on February 26 - 27, 2019 organised by the research team at iQ Hub along with its strategic partners. The convention center offers state of the art exhibition and conference facilities (please contact the delegates team for more information).
Please consider participating in what is certain to be a highly productive experience with an opportunity to collaborate with industry experts in this fast developing market.
